The Mies van de Rohe pavilion in Barcelona represents an icon in minimalist architecture from the first period of the 20th century.

It was a pavilion designed by Mies van de Rohe for his native country Germany for the Barcelona Universal Exhibition in 1929. This pavilion was dismantled once the exhibition ended and fortunately it was rebuilt in the 80s with maximum respect for detail, design and materials thereof.

This pavilion is mainly composed of steel, glass and different natural stones.
